B747-400 acceleration performance
Переглядів 1,2 тис.5 років тому
This takeoff was conducted at approximately 495000lbs which was still 90k heavier than would have been optimum. In any case, still quite surprising and impressive..
Helped them out at my hospital. Noisy and fun..
407 diesel star up
Incredible visibility and handling charasteristics
Awesome
Looks like a really nice build! But if I owned this, the last thing I'd put in the panel would be glass. Gotta be steam gauges. Old school panel for an old school machine.
How come your not making videos anymore?
"pre-flight check list completed" forgets master ignition off...
Is that why it started? 😂
@@AldoSchmedack will i really have to explain to you? he hit the starter and the timer, but the ignition was off, so nothing happened, then he switches master to on.
its not a big deal, It was just funny that he said the checklist was completed and the master was still off, sometimes it becomes so routine/automatic, that you just check stuff but dont really process it.
Thats definitely Venice municipal airport
Fancy shmancy...
thank you very much for the wonderful presentation of our stork, which hatched from its egg in kassel in 1936. it is available in a wide variety of variants and also in original ones. here in kassel there is a community that cares for the little bird. among other things, a certified pilot who restores the original stork from 1943 and continues to fly it. get in touch with me, I will organize the contact.
Excelente
Nice!
Nice setup!
I honestly expected it to land and make the very first turn to the taxiway, but it flew past it for some reason....
シュトルヒ❗一度は乗ってみたい。
Amazing job. Am I right to assume by the huge amount of rudder input needed that you were having tailwind or just regular sidewind?
There are usually 10-20 kt winds up there at anytime. Only on way in, so sometimes it’s not possible to get in there safely
👍👍👍
Thin and long USB airplane
The fact he put a glass mfd in a storch kinda makes me wanna punch him
You log Cross Country time taxing those things. You can probably take off and land where the chopper guys do it in one of these. 👍🏼 outstanding airplane.
not one single leaf on that yard
Very smooth landing.
Where is?
Florida
I once saw one of these at an airshow (US base in Cambridgeshire - circa 1994) and the pilot landed it on one of the small taxiways that link up the main taxiways and runways, possibly 250yards at most. It landed facing the crowd, utterly ridiculous, but just amazing.
If he REALY wanted to he probably could have made that first turn off... right at the white stripes.
I think you’ll find that the DNA in its airframe is superior to the super cub which is surprising because they don’t have DNA
This looks like Sheltair Tampa..possibly n803S? Sikorsky s-76c
Not exactly a period Cockpit is it ? 😎 is it the original engine etc ? Or is there more modernization going on ?
I feel like I could fly this plane without any instructions. And I don't have a drivers license.
One amazing little plane!
inverted V8........
The rumour is Hitler escaped in one of these polluted by a female pilot she landed on the main Blvd. An took off from it
Sweet! I would like to get my rotor wing when I am able to get my medical back. Enjoy!
Make a great 90 size plus model
Not that that wasn’t a spot on landing but those things can land backwards if they have a strong enough headwind!
There can be times when you have to fly it back to the hanger…😀
Мог бы и поперек полосы сесть !😁
Sounds Fun, Can I Go For A Too?
Sounds fun can I go for a ride to?
WHEN YOU FLY OVER WATER DO YOU ALWAYS WEAR A LIFE PRESERVER IN CASE THE ENGINES QUITS? .... THAT STORCH PROBABLY HAS A GLIDE ANGLE OF A HANG GLIDER OR BRICK .... I USED TO HAVE A WEEDHOPPER .... LOTS OF FUN BUT WHEN THE ENGINE QUIT YOU USUALLY CAME DOWN ON WHAT YOU WERE FLYING OVER .... IT HAD A SLOW SINK RATE BUT THE GLIDE OF A BADMITTEN BIRDIE ... MORAL .... DON'T FLY LOW OVER ANYWHERE YOU WOULDN'T WANT TO LAND .... DRAGGY AIRPLANES DONT HAVE MUCH L/D .... :-( .... .................................................................................................................................................
I have flown 2 of these machines one had a 300 HP shaky Jake on it. Great rides !! Goes up like an elevator!!! With a little slipping you can land in 200 feet
The French replaced the Argus engine with the Jacobs radial when the French company that built the Argus engines post war went bankrupt. I guess the Jacobs was readily and cheaply available as surplus in numbers.
Like on a bicycle, lightly ...
So sad that some of the best inovations in modern times also came with genocide. There is a fine line between genius and insanity.
Right on the numbers. Excellent
Enter downwind and land the same day
So cool, the best! What an aircraft!
This confirms the theory that the Germans were close to achieving anti-gravity technology.
I've never seen a more smooth, seamless transition from flight to ground. Storch, in a pilot's eyes, flies like it looks like it flies - as close to perfectly as the materials, technology and pilot allow. The Storch is phenomenally one of the best-designed aircraft of ALL time, e.g., the Piper Cub, DC-3, Boeing 707, B-52, Cessna 150-172, Beechcraft King-Air. . . legends of aviation mastery on all levels, sheer poetry, . . .
Except for a sailplane, that looks like one of the smallest instrument panels ever?
That pilot only has one leg? Control Stick or video game Joy Stick?
Another example of German engineering
Looks like Venice(KVNC)
Slow it down a bit…
